Dinner and a show!

Hello my fellow followers. I am pleased to inform you that my senior project is going better than ever! Ever since the microphone incident I have been taking more time to set up and practice my songs to give the seniors the best entertainment as possible. My last visit was very unusual because I had so many seniors to plat for! I was floored the dining hall was packed all because I just played and sang a few songs. Before I started the night off with their favorite song ,It Had To Be You, I thought back to the beginning of this whole endeavor. I never thought that I would make such a impact on these lonely seniors just by playing some songs, but God is awesome and powerful. The proof is what I am doing right now. I am not that comfortable speaking; yet alone singing in front of total strangers! Now I look at myself and my passion, and I have realized that this has helped me become more outspoken as well as more confident. I know I am not the next American Idol; nor will I ever try out even though Simon is off it! Anyway I feel a connection with the seniors at White Oak, and I want this connection to grow more and more until finally we could call each other family.
