I am a senior at Oakbrook Preparatory School. This year we are able to design our own class ,which is called senior project. In this senior project class we have to provide a product or a service, and I have decided to use my guitar playing skills to serendade the elderly at nursing homes.

The Curse is over!
The curse is over viewers I can finally go back to playing for my adoring fans. For the past couple of weeks I have not been able to provide White Oak with the musical healing that they need due to a nasty upper respiratory infection. I plan on resuming my visits tomorrow and I have also been informed that Mrs. Zion will be making a guest appearance.

The Flu has got me singing the Blues!
Hey everyone I am here to say that I will not be able to play at White Oak tommorrow due to the fact that they still have a flu epidemic. Mrs. Zion if you are reading this I am sorry I did not inform you sooner and hope that you did not cancel any important plans to come see me. Even though I have not been able to perform in front of my beloved fans I have still practiced very vigorously in hopes that when I am welcomed back my performing will be better than ever.

Two Turn Tables and A Microphone!
Hello my fellow bloggers I know you might be asking why did I put a picture of a microphone. Also you may be asking the same question with the title, well let me tell you the story. First off I have been using a microphone to sing in instead of relying on my powerful voice to carry through the room. To start off the day was very drull and rainy, not a good way to start off. I knew I had to perform even better today than any other in the past since the atmosphere was very draining. I came in with my dad and my sister who helped take pictures as I played for the half asleep residents. It took a very long time for all of them to get in the dining room before I actually started playing and singing the songs. Once I startled by playing take it easy the mood lightened up and I was ready to play waiting on the world. That started off well too but then the microphone just stand started to droop down. I was sweating how could this happen! The mic stand started drifting lower and lower to my impending doom of embarassment. In short by the time i got to the solo my you could hear my guitar more than me. I am actually glad that I am experiencing these types of mal-functions now so I can learn from them and do better in the future.

Blue Skies and Cloudy Days
Hello everyone I am pleased to inform you that I will not only be playing at White Oak for February but also March. I decided to do this because I only played three days in January, and I feel it will give me more experience for performing in the future. This week I will also be playing at a different time from 5:15-5:45 which will also probably be more of a crowd. This will give me a better feel for what it will be like for playing for big crowds in the future and I think I will get a better response out of them. I also decided to change this time because Mrs. Brown said it would really make their day since they have nothing to do before dinner. I originally thought this would be a bad time since it was so late and they might be cranky. Hopefully everything will work out and they will have a great time!
